Code Of Ethics

As a coach:

I hold myself accountable to the highest level of integrity, honoring Jesus Christ individually and corporately, in all my associations with clients and colleagues.

As a Christian coach, I will conduct myself in a professional manner and uphold the laws of God in all coaching situations.

I will practice coaching in a way that promotes confidentiality and complies with any applicable laws.

I will abide by all coaching agreements made with my clients, and will honor the coaching relationship with Godly respect.

I will be clear with my clients about the nature of coaching services, the confidentiality, financial agreements, and other terms of the coaching agreement.

I will give credit where credit is due for materials supplied by other sources, respecting copyrights, trademarks and intellectual property.

I will not intentionally mislead or make false claims about what my client will receive from the coaching process or from me as their coach.

I will not give my clients information or advice I know to be misleading and will allow the Holy Spirit to lead the client in the direction they should go.

I will pursue wholeness, well being, and continual learning in my own life.

I will respect the client’s right to terminate coaching at any point during the process. I will be alert to indications that the client is no longer benefiting from our coaching relationship.

I will encourage a client to make a change if I discern the client would be better served by another coach, or by another resource.

I will seek to build my practice on the foundation of the Lord, with the Holy Spirit guiding all my coaching. I will honor the right to not coach anyone who does not allow me to coach according to scriptural beliefs.

I will seek to conduct my coaching practice in a manner that is pleasing to God and strive to always put Him as the center of my practice.

I will speak the truth to others when needed, based upon scripture and not upon my own understanding.

God's Will

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

-- Romans 12:2 (NIV)

Exalt And Praise Him

1 I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever.  2 Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.  3 Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;  his greatness no one can fathom.

-- Psalm 145:1-3 (NIV)
