 I have always been fascinated with leadership. My most dominant “motivational” spiritual gift is Administration or Leadership. So, my life long interest in leadership issues makes perfect sense! I strongly believe in leading from where you are – in a completely authentic and balanced way! I have a very buoyant spirit! My leadership and coaching styles reflect my love of life and my joy-filled soul!
I’ve had the privilege of holding many leadership positions. During my 20-year career in the mortgage lending industry, I held various management, coaching, and training positions in two large, well-known corporations and in several smaller companies. I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of people – leading them in the successful completion of shared goals and objectives. I always took the time to get to know these employees – well enough to spend time discussing their personal goals, desires, personalities, and work styles.
I have experienced working as a member of a team and in managing large staffs who were organized in to smaller teams. So, I understand the concept of leading in a team environment – both as a manager, a trainer/coach, and a team leader.
Following my mortgage lending career, I was self-employed as a Real Estate Sales Person for approximately ten years. This environment required strong ability to lead myself – and coach myself. Within a few years, I grew my business to include a small team. At this point, I also hired a personal business coach.
In June of 1999, as I was enjoying my best year ever, in terms of financial income, I experienced an incredible life-changing event! My son, whom I had lost to adoption in 1974, searched for – and found me! You can read more about this at my other Christian Coaching website www.adoptiontriadcoach.com.
My life perspective changed in a moment. I realized I was reconnected with my heart – my soul – in a way that I had not been for almost 25 years. Reunion with my son has been the catalyst for major spiritual growth in my own life. Today, Jesus is my ultimate Leadership and Life Coach!
Through my spiritual growth experiences, I have come to my God-given life purpose – Christian Life Coaching and Coach Training. Leadership Coaching and Life Coaching for the Adoption Triad are two niches that are most uniquely mine. Training others who have the call to coach is also a God-given purpose!
